A wooden backing board can frame a brass plaque beautifully. Our carpenters can make the wooden backing boards to any size which is normally 20 mm larger than the plaque. The standard backing board is made from iroko wood as little maintenance will be required. It is also the cheapest.

Personalise your engraved brass memorial plaque
Fonts and Images
Images used on our engraved memorial plaques are usually line drawings which are either painted filled or left as finer scratch engraved designs.
Chemical etching can be used where more colour is required. It can also be used for very detailed artwork such as these images of a shipwreck and battle scenes.
The Wording
The price includes 50 characters with extra letters being £4 per 30. The lettering is normally painted painted black. Other paint colours are available and it can be left unpainted.
