Printed Anodised Aluminium Plaques
Anoprinting is a very clever technique which locks full-colour graphics inside the hard anodised surface of aluminium.Using a digital printer the image is printed into the anodised surface before the anodising is complete. After this, the surface is sealed and the graphics are locked in. (a process which can be compared to setting concrete)
The words, photos and other graphics, below the anodised surface, blend into the aluminium which can be gold or silver. The surface itself is inert and can withstand chemicals, along with whatever the weather can throw at it. It can even be used on the decks of cruise ships which have to cope with hot sun and sea spray.

Full-colour plaques inset into slate, granite and corian.
Full-Colour Inserts
There are times when a full colour anodised plaque does not seem appropriate. However, we can use the full-colour anoprinted image only and insert it into a plaque made from another material. Using this method we can create some really lovely memorials.
Granite, slate or stone-like corian can all be used in this way. We can engrave or sandblast out a recess into which we fit the anodised aluminium image plaque using permanent adhesive. This can be a photo or any other image and it does look very effective. The colour plaque is flush with the rest of the memorial.

Our carpenters can make the wooden backing boards to any size which is normally 20mm larger than the plaque. The backing board is usually made from iroko wood as little maintenance will be required. Other timbers such as oak, red sapele wood and painted hardwood are available.
There is also stone-like Corian which make excellent backing mounts. We can even inset a plaque into the Corian or engrave information under the plaque.
