- There are Standard Sizes, but as always we can make crosses to any size you want.

Wooden Cross
Wording laser engraved into the cross
For our wooden memorial crosses we use oak or iroko. Oak is a beautiful timber which we treat with a tough commercial satin varnish. Iroko is full of its own oil, and we treat it with Devon Oil.
We laser engraved your wording directly into the wood. Using the laser, we can create fine text and very detailed images if required. The bottom of the cross can be square-ended for wall mounting or pointed for pushing into the ground.

Painted Wooden Memorial Crosses
Painted Wooden Cross
With laser engraved lettering.
These are a beautiful alternative to the natural wooden cross. The sizes and prices are the same as the wooden crosses above. We can only laser engrave the small, medium and large crosses, but are still able to make the x-large by using painted lettering.
We usually use Accoya wood for these, which is a very stable modified and long-lasting timber. However, we can use Sapele or Oak if you prefer. The standard paint colours are white, light green and light grey. There are lots of other colours @ £5 – choose a light colour though.

Wording Engraved and Painted
Corian, from stone dust and resin, retains many properties of stone being quite heavy and cold to the touch. It is an ideal material for a memorial cross or grave marker as it is virtually maintenance-free.
There are two styles of Corian cross – The Standard Memorial Cross and the more elaborate Celtic Cross. Both are available in the four colours shown below, although other Corian colours are available – add 10%.
The wording and images are laser engraved into the Corian and then painted filled. Letter colours are usually black, brown, dark green and blue for the light coloured Corian whereas white, light grey, light green, gold and silver are the best colours for slate grey.

Plain Wooden Crosses
Ideal for use with a plaque
The carpenters in our workshops also make wooden crosses which you can purchase without any engraving. We make crosses to any size, but we have listed the standard sizes below, and they can all be left untreated, oiled, varnished or painted.
We do make a whole range of engraved plaques which we can attach to the crosses. Other possabilities are cast bronze or full colour anodised aluminium plaques.

The Super-sized Mega Cross
The Mega Cross
As well as all the memorial crosses shown above we also have a supersize cross we describe as The Mega Cross. Our carpenters make these usually in Oak or Iroko.
They are made from 45mm timber so are a substantial weight. One of the sides is angled which does look very attractive but allows for less text.
The Mega Cross comes with a wrought iron ground spike to fix it easily into the ground. As with all our crosses there is a huge range of fonts and images you can choose from.

Full Colour Images
We can include full-colour images by using porcelain plaques or full colour anodised aluminium. When using the anodised aluminium with a Corian cross, it can be inset and therefore has a flush finish with the cross.
