Barnstaple Green Burial offers a tranquil final resting place for you or your loved ones. It is situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple in North Devon where wildlife and wild plants can thrive and where a selection of trees will be planted to enhance the landscape.
The site provides incredible views across the valley and hosts beautiful sunsets. Families will have the opportunity to plant a tree in memory of their loved one and we will be offering a selection of apple trees so that over time a beautiful orchard will be created.

A beautiful, wild natural environment that is adjacent to an established woodland and an organic farm. The burial ground thrives with wild grass, wildflowers and wildlife. A native tree is planted after a burial and ashes are interred in a wildflower meadow. The burial ground will ultimately evolve into a mature woodland and wildflower meadow.

Eden Valley Woodland Burial Gound  – Kent / Surrey Border
Eden Valley Woodland Burial Ground located in Edenbridge, Kent, is an enchanting 22-acre green cemetery operated and managed by the Natural Death Centre charity. Developed specifically for ‘Natural Burials’, the peaceful site offers a beautiful and secluded resting place. Burials take place in an area adjacent to an ancient bluebell woodland, amongst younger but well-established oak trees.

Aylesbury Vale Natural Burial Meadow – Princes Risborough / Buckinghamshire 
The natural burial meadow at Little Meadle lies within the Aylesbury Vale. The burial ground offers peaceful resting places in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside with stunning views of the Chiltern Hills and surrounding countryside. Families can choose to plant a memorial tree in the meadow or copse while the natural burial also offers pet burials. Cremated remains can be interred or scattered in the meadow or nearby pond area, so they too can rest peacefully in the freedom of the meadow amongst the wildflowers, wildlife and wandering sheep. 

Fairspear Natural Burial Ground  – Oxon, Oxfordshire
Fairspear Natural Burial Ground is a place where people of all faiths and beliefs are welcome. A one-acre natural burial site set within a 7½  acre field on the edge of the Cotswolds in a stunning location overlooking rolling countryside.

The location is ideal for those looking for a peaceful and environmentally friendly resting-place where D.I.Y. Funerals, as well as those organised by Funeral Directors, are both accepted. Increasingly popular Humanist Ceremonies are very welcome too.

Henley Woodland Burial Ground – Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
Situated in the ‘Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ the woodland burial at Henley-on-Thames is a peaceful place, full of wildlife and wildflowers.  It’s not uncommon to see muntjac deer wandering through the woodland, or red kites flying above. The relaxing walk through the natural burial is perfect for dogs and family, while families can choose what is right for them in unhurried, relaxed surroundings. As it grows the new woodland creation will help to create new homes for local wildlife while offering peaceful natural resting places that families can return to as often, or as little as they wish.

The natural burial area at Norton Disney Bigwood, is an oasis of calm; set in an ancient woodland some of the Oak trees are approaching 200 years of age and create a perfect setting for your final resting place.

Westall Park Woodland Burial– Redditch, Worcestershire

Westall Park is one of the pioneers of Natural Burial, having opened in 1997 it is now very well established.
Located midway between Worcester and Stratford-Upon-Avon, Westall Park is set on a stunning hillside with far-reaching views over the Worcestershire countryside, stretching as far as the Brecon Beacons.    Native trees and shrubs are randomly planted around the park to create a mixture of wooded areas and open glades, connected by a network of picturesque paths.  Our aim is that all graves will be grassed over in time, and in the long term, burial areas will progressively return to nature’s own cycle of care and renewal to become a truly everlasting and dignified place of rest.

Cardiff & The Vale Natural Burial Meadow – Cardiff, Glamorgan
Situated on the western edge of Cardiff, Cardiff and The Vale Natural Burial Meadow has superb views with glimpses of the Millenium Stadium, St Fagans, Castell Coch, Caerphilly, the Garth Mountain and beyond. The burial meadow provides simple natural burials where families have the time and space to do things their way, including pet-friendly funerals so everyone is welcome. The burial ground also offers interment of ashes and ashes scatter in its dedicated scatter area, while the memorial shelter is there for families to use as they wish.

Pembrokeshire Natural Burials – Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire
Located in the Heart of Pembrokeshire the burial meadow is surrounded by the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside many have grown to love. With views of the stunning Preseli Mountains in the distance, it is a place you can stop and take a moment to reflect and remember those special to you. The burial ground offers families simple natural burials with the freedom and time to plan personal and special funerals in unhurried surroundings. It is also pet friendly and offers memorial trees, while families who have chosen cremation can choose to have an interment of ashes or ashes scatter in the meadow or in the wild cherry scatter area.

Usk Castle Chase Natural Burial Meadow – Monmouth, Monmouthshire
Usk Natural Burial Ground is set within the beautiful Monmouth countryside. The burial meadow offers something gentler, a place for people to remember and celebrate those special to them in peaceful, natural and unhurried surroundings. The memorial shelter is there for families to use as they wish, while the history of the burial ground is closely linked to Usk Castle, with its own hidden history, a WW2 Fox Hole, hidden within the woodland area of the burial ground itself.  The burial meadow is also pet friendly so everyone is welcome

Delliefure Cairngorms Natural Burial Ground – Granton-on-Spey, Cairngorms
The natural burial ground at Delliefure lies the beautiful countryside of Cairngorms National Park. The sweeping burial meadow is flanked on each side by silver birch woodland, while at the far end the glade opens up to reveal the superb River Spey. When walking the woodland trail you may spot osprey overhead or otters swimming the river, while red deer blend into the woodland and red squirrels inhabit the ancient pines. Whether you are looking for a natural burial or an interment or scatter of ashes it is a magical place that offers very personal, peaceful funerals and resting places.

Hundy Mundy Woodland Burial, part of the Mellerstain Estate, lies within beautiful countryside on the Scottish Borders. Hundy Mundy gets its name from the Folly that is an important part of the natural burial, but it is also very special because of what it offers.

At the heart of the historic Forbes Estate Cothiemuir Hill has been a special, historically important place, for thousands of years. The standing stones that are an important part of the natural burial were thought to be an ancient burial ground, and now the surrounding woodland and meadow allows us to offer natural burials surrounded by the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. The time and space of the woodland burial gives families the freedom to do things their way, whether arriving on horseback, bringing the dogs, erecting a marquee or keeping things simple.
