Natural Burial Grounds & Green Burial Sites
Many of the wooden memorial plaques we make are for natural burial grounds, although some do choose slate memorials which are laid flat. Click here to see a good selection of Natural Burial Ground Memorials.
We have created a list of green burial sites in the UK. Each one is a haven for wildlife, but they are all run in different ways. Have a look at their websites for more information.

Westall Park Woodland Burial– Redditch, Worcestershire
Westall Park is one of the pioneers of Natural Burial, having opened in 1997 it is now very well established.
Located midway between Worcester and Stratford-Upon-Avon, Westall Park is set on a stunning hillside with far-reaching views over the Worcestershire countryside, stretching as far as the Brecon Beacons. Native trees and shrubs are randomly planted around the park to create a mixture of wooded areas and open glades, connected by a network of picturesque paths. Our aim is that all graves will be grassed over in time, and in the long term, burial areas will progressively return to nature’s own cycle of care and renewal to become a truly everlasting and dignified place of rest.
